The memory of your body
Naked and glistening
Contrasted under the cotton sheets
Is to recall the grandiose of the stars
Retuning to the humbling innocence of newborn planets
And the substance of the human heart
Creation at the peak of mercy
A power greater than I or any man
Whose genius is enough to allow him to embrace fire
Or take the arm of a galaxy
Or capture the heart of the universe
For reality is not seeing what you believe
Belief is seeing reality
And I am blessed

I haven't written in a while, and a few days ago, inspiration hit. This took maybe 10 minutes, very light editing, but this piece is almost entirely raw and quite a bit more powerful than I expected.
I've found a few of my own personal themes in it, but even finding them took me 4-5 reads. Interesting what comes out of just letting words flow, eh?
